Obituary of Theresa Shirley Egan

Theresa Shirley Egan of West Orange, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Scranton, PA, "Shirley" moved to NJ and graduated from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, Newark, NJ. Predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years, Peter Charles Egan, she leaves behind her son, Peter Charles Egan, Jr. and his wife Debi, daughters Elizabeth Egan, Susan Egan and Tara Hadzima and her husband Brant, as well as her seven grandchildren: Kelly Egan, Reilly Dowd, Katie Dowd, Peter and Grady Egan, Brant and Andrej Hadzima and a very dear friend, Teresa Dower. Friends and relatives are invited to gather between 7 and 9 pm on Thursday February 18, 2016 at Dangler Funeral Home, 340 Main Street, West Orange, NJ. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am, on Friday, February 19, at St. Joseph's Church, 44 Benvenue Ave, West Orange, NJ. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair, NJ.
