Obituary of Charles Joseph Gaynor

Charles Joseph "Charlie" Gaynor, 79 Charles Joseph "Charlie" Gaynor, 79, of Bushkill PA, formerly of West Orange, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, March 13, 2016. Visiting will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 4 to 8 PM. at the Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Charlie's name to; Pocono Health System, Hospice House, 502 VNA road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. Funeral Services will be held on March 19, 2016 at 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home, followed by a 12:30 PM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Valley Church, 510 Valley Street in Orange. Cremation will be private. Charles was born and raised in Orange; he lived in West Orange for many years before retiring to Bushkill PA 13 years ago. Before retiring Charlie was a foreman for Automatic Switch Co. in Florham Park. Prior to becoming foreman he served as Shop Stewart and was a loyal member of IBEW Local 3. Charlie was an avid outdoorsman and a member of the Forrester's Rod and Gun Club in Orange. Charlie also loved tennis, bowling, and cycling throughout his life. Mr. Gaynor Proudly served in the Unites States National Guard from 1953 to 1957. Charles was the beloved husband of 56 years of Rosemarie Gaynor (nee Speller) Devoted father of Kathleen Mazurek and her husband Andrew, Charlene Crann and her husband Jim, Christine Gaynor and her spouse Kelly Cole, and Maureen Miller and her husband Bill. Loving brother of Gregory and his wife Teri, Joan Salmon and the late Richard. Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Jeffrey, Erin, Patrick, Maggie, Emily, Julia, Luke, Cole, Maddie, and Charlie.
