Obituary of Sean Michael Cassels

Sean Michael Cassels, 40 Sean Michael Cassels 40, of West Orange passed away unexpectedly on August 2, 2016. Visitation for Sean will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2016, from 2:00-8:00 PM at Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange 340 Main Street West Orange, NJ 07052. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016, at 10:00 AM, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Avenue, West Orange, NJ. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover, NJ. Sean was born in Montclair and was a lifelong resident of West Orange. Sean served as a dedicated Police Officer with the Township of Millburn and was a proud former member of the West Orange Police Department. He was a member of the Millburn PBA Local 34, and a longtime player in the North Jersey Baseball League. Sean was a graduate of Seton Hall Prep and earned his bachelor's degree in business from Montclair State University. Sean was a founding father of Pike Fraternity. Sean was the beloved husband of Jessica (DeMarco), cherished father of Michael, Patrick and Jameson, the loving son of Michael and Mary Noreen (Foley) Cassels, caring brother of Eileen and Brian Aker and Meghan and Cory Todd. Sean is also survived by his adoring godmother Anita Foley. Uncle Sean will be greatly missed by his 6 nephews and 3 nieces.
