Obituary of Stella E. Santucci
Stella E. Santucci, 86
Stella E. Santucci (nee Ferrara),86, of West Orange passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 14, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Stella's name to; Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange, NJ 07052 and/or Susan G. Komen , 44 Middle Ave., 2nd Fl, Summit, NJ 07901.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. West Orange. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
Stella was born in West Orange and was a lifelong resident , raising her family with her beloved husband Vincent. Stella was a lunch aide working at Pleasantdale School for the West Orange Board of Education. Stella was known as Mrs. "S", she loved being around the children every day. She had a beautiful soprano voice had leads in many operatta's, loved music, writing to friends, most of all loved her family. Stella was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Church Catholic Daughters, the Rosary Altar Society and the Mr. & Mrs. Club.
Stella was the beloved wife of 66 years of the late Vincent Thomas Santucci Sr., who predeceased her in October of 2016. She was the loving daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth Ferrara. Devoted mother of Vincent Jr. and his wife Linda, Diane Oldock and her husband Joseph, Carol Poquette and her husband Darren, Maria Pitch and her husband Michael , Andrea Santucci- Markovic and her husband Peter Markovic. Loving sister of Rose Bellante, and the late Marie Casalino, Emanuel Ferrara, Martin Ferrara, and Margaret Verderamo. Cherished grandmother of Jonathan, Corrine, Joseph, Michael, Jennifer, Michele, Nicholas, Gina. Loving great grandmother of Jonah, Caleb, Lydia, Violet, and Cecilia.
