Obituary of V. Anthony Amendola

V. Anthony Amendola, 33 V. Anthony Amendola 33, of California, formerly of West Orange passed away on Tuesday October 17, 2017. Visitation will be held on Thursday October 26, 2017 from 4 to 8 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in V. Funeral Services will be held on Friday October 27, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. V. Anthony was born in Livingston, raised and lived in West Orange before moving to Irvine, California 12 years ago. He was a body surfer and was well known in the surfing industry. He was an elite ambassador for bodysurfing and had sponsors from Australia and California. V. Anthony was the loving son of Rosanne and Joseph Amendola. Devoted brother of Dana Amendola and Laura and Lenny DeFinis. Cherished uncle of Madeleine. He was also the loving nephew of Frank and Kathy Pellicani, Joseph and the late MaryEllen Tuzzolo, and John and MaryAnn Selpe. Devoted cousin of the late John Vito Selpe, Kevin and Gina Selpe-Grau, Michael Selpe, Kimberly Selpe, Kristie Pellicani, Francesca Pellicani, and Vincenzo Pellicani. Cherished uncle of Zachary and Nathan Grau and Sienna Palumbo.
