Peter A. Greene, 95

Peter A. Greene, 95, of West Orange passed away on Friday, November 28, 2019.

Visiting will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peter’s name to; American Cancer Society, 906 South Springfield Ave., Springfield, NJ 07081.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Saint John’s Church, 94 Ridge Street in Orange. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.  In lieu of flowers donations in Peter’s name to

Peter was born in County Roscommon, Ireland before moving to West Orange.  Peter graduated from Seton Hall University. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1942 to 1945, during World War II, he was a member of the West Orange VFW Post 376, and the American Legion.

Peter was the loving brother of Thomas R. Greene. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
