Potito “Pete” Carlucci, 72

Potito Carlucci, 72, of West Orange passed away on Saturday May 30, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

Potito was born in Ascoli Satriano, Italy before coming to the United States. He was a Barber by trade and was the owner and proprietor of Pete’s Haircutting & Styling in South Orange for 40 years.

Pete was the beloved husband of 49 years to Joanne Carlucci (nee Duca). Devoted father of Vincent, Roseann Pirylis, and Annmarie La Rocca and her husband Joseph. Loving brother of Luisa Michaels and her husband Joseph, Vincent and his wife Kimberly, and Lucia Rizzo and her husband Giro. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Stephanie, and Jordan.

Due to the recommended safety measures caused by the Coronavirus, Funeral Services are being privately arranged by The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange.  A celebration of Pete’s life will be held at a later date. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com.
