It was Dodgertown Vero Beach 1986. My first Dodger adult baseball camp. While waiting for the Dodgertown bus to pick up the campers who arrived at Melbourne Airport, I met Sal for the first time. We immediately became friends. Who would ever think our friendship would last 35 years?! We made amazing memories together! My wife Gerry and I are sure going to miss Sal and Geri. God bless and RIP! I met Sal in the record business, I guess it was in the mid 70's. That was a few years before he started S&J with his partner Jimmy. Sal was one of the funniest people I've ever known and besides being an expert on the Dodgers,he also knew so.much about music in terms of who was in this or that group. I met Gerry a few times, a wonderful woman Sal and I went to hated Yankee Stadium for 1977 all star game , we also went to a doo wop show and to wrestling. He was the ultimate Brooklynite
