My sincere condolences to JoAnne's family. I met her about 5 years ago when Betty Salerno organized a grief group for women who had become recently widowed. We met frequently and shared memories of our lives. Jo Anne was one of the kindest women I've known. When I took ill, she reached out to me frequently to make sure I didn't need anything. And she always concluded with, " Call me if you need anything, errands, shopping, anything." What a wonderful Christian woman who lived her faith. I will miss her forever! Cynthia Salzano

I am such a lucky woman. Aunt JoAnne did not miss one single day of my life. She witnessed every milestone I ever achieved. She dried my tears in troubled times and celebrated my every accomplishment. She defined the word Godmother. Everyone should be so lucky. I will miss her so very much. I have learned from her to “pay it forward”.
